Kris and Don with a brace of Jacks. I call this photo, Uptown Dawg meets Shimmy Shad! We won't hold it against Don that he is a USC fan, although from the looks of the hat, it has seen better days!
Rick and his friend Rick with a nice St. Clair musky. Thank you Captain VanAssche! Chalk another one up for the FatHead!
This fat Lake Webster beast fell for a shad colored Shimmy Shad! Nice hat Rick! That must have been from the Buckeyes 14-0 National Championship in 2002! Go Bucks!
Will a Marlin eat our soft plastics - no way? YES WAY!
No, this 39 pound permit did not succumb to our soft plastics. It was caught on a crab, but at only 13 pounds shy of the current world record, it is a trophy. That's guide Mark Henninger on the left..., Rick on the right. Mark's right arm is showing the length of a much larger permit which came up in tandem with this one. When the 39 pounder ate, Mark said, "Damn it, the small one ate the bait". Honestly, this is true and the permit we saw had to be pushing 50 pounds.
Another Lake Webster caught hog. Rick caught this one while testing our prototype shimmy shads. This fish was only 47 inches long, but the head on it was huge. She crushed a 12 inch holographic shimmy shad on a figure 8 and the lure completely disappeared! Do you see a trend here? If it's Trophy fish you're after, you have come to the right site!
