Trophy Technology is one of the largest musky products company in the world. No other company has our breadth of products. No other musky products manufacturer makes rods, nets, fishing line, fishing lures (wood, soft plastic, hard plastic and bucktails), and accessory products like headlamps and fishing tools. Not only do we make lures for 3 of the 4 largest musky lure makers in the world, but we also have our own fast growing brand, Reaction Strike. Reaction Strike markets the popular Spence Petros Signature Series rods, nets, fishing line, bucktails, wood lures, soft plastic lures, and much, much more. We manufacture leading edge products like the Musky Innovations Uptown Bulldawgs, and much more for MI (see their site at muskyinnovations.com) such as their mono leaders and fluorocarbon leaders.
We provide products to Musky Innovations, Roberts Outdoors, Suick Lures, Rollie and Helens Musky Shop, Gander Mountain, Fleet Farm, Sports Specialists, Robinson Wholesale, Smokey's Muskellunge Shop, Odyssey Lures, Bait Rigs Tackle, Windels, Wishin Lures, AC Kerman, Land O' Lakes Tackle, One Stop Bait Shop, Ye Olde Tackle Shop and Thorne Brothers just to name a few.
Everybody talks about quality in their products, but what does this really mean? Let us explain. We spare no expense to over-engineer all our products. Our soft plastics are all hand poured, not machine made like nearly every other lure out there. We spot weld all the contact points on our hook harnesses! Our leadheads are specially designed so they will not pull out of the soft plastic. We handpaint our soft plastics. Even the hologram glitter we use is state-of-the-art glitter that is just incredible. When someone asked for rattles in a soft plastic, we said, no problem!
We don't design our baits in a garage, but rather in a computerized facility. Every bait is drawn on a Cad Cam, and quick prototyping provides us with an inexpensive and very timely prototype. These proto's are tweaked, and within a few iterations, voila, we have a perfectly running bait. Our competition cuts a mold with a "best guess". Then, if it does not work, they start adding lead, lead and more lead until the bait runs straight. While it is expensive to cut many molds to get the product "just right", it is what the customer deserves and the best practice in the long run.
