Update from Pro Staffer Phil Schweik: Just won the WMT Tournament on Mohawksin today!!! 70 boats and 140 contestants! Not only did we get first place but we also won the Big Fish category with a massive 46" musky and we won the first fish of the tournament division. The big fish came on a Trophy Technology Shimmy Shad and the other fish a 37.75" on a Ducktail Topwater bait. I just wanted to thank everyone for all of your support I will have more details for everyone by Tuesday. http://www.hooksetters.biz/meettheguide.shtml Bill's Musky Club Tournament update from Phil Schweik: I am tearing the muskies up on them here in Wisconsin. Right now, Shimmy Shads have been the number one producer in my boat!!! It also helped me take 4th and 5th place out of 85 anglers last week at Bills Musky Club Fall Outting. And I only fished half of the tournament due to prior obligations. I was still the only one to double during the tournament. There were 3 larger fish caught but no other doubles. I also had a three fish outing with a client on Thursday while using the Shimmy Shad. Check out our websites message board at www.hooksetters.biz and look at the fishing report for Thursday Oct. 13th. | |
Update from Pro Staffer Fred McClintock: I did a TV Show with Doug Stange of In-Fisherman today. We caught 3 massive Stripers on your baits and it will be on TV 16 different times this winter. Many close shots of the baits were taken. Can't send photos as they are under wraps until the shows air, but you will be very happy when you see them! Thank You Fred Mc Clintock www.trophyguideservice.com. www.dalehollowguide.com | ![]() |
Trophy Tech Pro Staffer and guide, Mark Williams of Inland Lakes Charters guided these happy campers to some nice stripers. I have fished with some very famous fisherman over the years, but none are any better than the multi-species guru, Willy! Want a great guided trip? Call Willy at 317-446-1362. | ![]() |

| Wow, what a huge tiger. 50 inches of FlutterTail crunching dynamite. This monster was caught off a FlutterTail, a new bait we license to Roberts Outdoors/Bucher Tackle. | |
| Do you recognize this guy? It's Bob Behrendt again, with a doubleheader of truly monstous pike. Bob and his fishing partner got this doubleheader off our FatHeads. This is fast becoming the go-to bait for the Athabasca pike and laker crowd. | Trophy Muskellunge Lure Bait Fishing Tackle Trop Trophy Technology Musky Muskie Muskellunge Lure Bait Fishing Tackle Trophy Technology Musky Muskienology Musky Muskie Muskellunge Lure Bait Fishing Tackle Trophy Technology Musky Muskie Muskellunge Lure Bait Fishing Tackle Trophy Technology Musky Muskie Muskellunge Lure Bait Fishing Tackle Trophy Technology Musky Muskie Muskellunge Lure Bait Fishing Tackle Trophy Technology Musky Muskie Muskellunge Lure Bait Fishing Tackle |
| Donnie has the reputation as a “big fish” Musky Angler. He fishes Eagle Lake and it’s surrounding waters including Canyon, Corner, Cliff, Cedar, Indian, and Stewart, just to name a few. Donnie is spending increasing numbers of days locally fishing lakes like St. Clair, Georgian Bay, Webster, Tippecanoe, and James to increase his odds at big fish. Donnie spends approximately 70 to 80 days on the water. He is looking for that 50 pound monster. He has been in contact with some “big” fish, and still believes the world record swims in Eagle. Donnie used to own and operate Andy Myer’s Lodge alongside Steve Herbeck, from 1993 to 1999, at which time he sold his share of the business to Steve. He has been fishing Eagle Lake since 1987, and muskies since 1985. Donnie writes for Musky Hunter, Muskies Inc, and many other periodicals. He is a speaker who enjoys giving his time and knowledge. As well, he is an annual guest speaker on MuskieFirst.com’s chat room. He has personally caught 22 muskies over 50”s, with four over forty pounds. He’s had the opportunity to share the boat with some of the top names in the business including Steve Herbeck, Tony Rizzo, Steve Heiting, Pete Maina, and too many others to mention. Donnie is a strong supporter of catch and release and Trophy Technology is proud to welcome him aboard. |
